The Land of Enchantment

This October, we got a major bucket list experience. After a week in Alamogordo (and our required trip to Pistachio Land), we got to go to the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta! We got up at 3am to see the Dawn Patrol, and were back at 5pm to see the Sunset Balloon Glow. After a year and half, and two failed attempts to go up in a balloon, we finally got to lay our eyes on them.

After a week in Albuquerque, we went up to meet the winter in Nebraska. Tuesday it was 80*, Wednesday it was 30*. My husband was fine of course, but this little Texas girl was COLD!!

After a week in Kansas and a week in Nebraska this year, I regret to inform you that they are both very nice states and I would be happy to live in either one (hard to believe, I know, but look at this picture)

I also celebrated my 27th birthday in Lincoln, NE. Present and cupcakes courtesy of Mom, and dinner at an Indian restaurant with my love. ❤
