We had our first class cancellation of the year so we ran up to New Jersey to visit mom (and Suki!!) over the first week of July. We were there just long enough for her air conditioner to die, and then we left for Florida again.

We went BACK to Orlando for a week and saw Medieval Times, then we split up. Michael taught a class in Tampa and I taught my first class ever at the Kissimmee juvenile

detention facility. I had 6 of the nicest young boys you could ask for, and had a great time! While I was in Kissimmee, Michael came up one evening and we saw Katsura Sunshine do his English Rakugo show, live!

Michael and I met back up in Tampa, then we went BACK to Crestview for another class there. Then we drove over for the weekend in Jacksonville. We saw the Jumbo Shrimps lose 7-8 against the Memphis Red Birds, then moved into our hotel in St. Augustine.

They say Florida is paradise on earth, but it's hot, humid, rainy, and boring if you're not going to beach. We're ready to go somewhere else!!!
