West to East and Back

States visited: New Mexico Arkansas Florida Montana

We started off with a week in Santa Fe and then a week in Taos. While in Santa Fe, we visited the historic Santa Fe Plaza and walked around the Hotel La Fonda, another famous Harvey Hotel.

From Taos, we had our first class in Arkansas! We arrived in Little Rock just in time for the winter storm, but we did get to go to church!

After a chilly week in Arkansas, we got a week of 80* in Florida. We stayed in a little AirBnB on a farm, so we woke up with the rooster every morning. It was all fine and good until he started yelling at 4:00am!

Friday after class, we jumped in the van and drove 9 hours up to Nashville, TN. We slept 4 hours and were in the airport at 7am for our flight to Helena, Montana! This is our first time in Montana, so we are exploring the food scene, starting with a gigantic pretzel at the Windbag Saloon!

Next month, we’ll be back in Arkansas, Illinois, New York, then off to Japan!
