We started our month in Corona, NM working on a wind farm. They told us in the safety orientation "We do have Life Flight. If you get bitten by a snake, neither the life flight nor the ambulances carry anti-venom. The helicopter takes 45 minutes to get here and 45 minutes to get back to the hospital in Santa Rosa. From there they'll transfer you to Albuquerque, which is another 90 minutes." So basically, don't get bitten by a snake!!

We left Corona and headed out to Casa Grande, Arizona by

way of Pistachioland. We haven't been to Pistachioland in probably two years, so we made sure to stock up on potentially waaaaaay too many pistachios.

We spent a week in Arizona (our first time teaching there) then Michael dropped me off at home in Texas on his way to New Orleans. I got to spend a week at home working

on some local projects, then on Saturday I flew from San Antonio to New Orleans to get in the car and start the drive up to Michigan. Now we've officially entered "Wrong Coat Season". It was 80 degrees when we left NOLA and it's 22 degrees in Michigan this morning!
