Only three more weeks til Christmas

We started our month in Austin, at the hotel where Michael and I met (💖), then we made the drive up to Andover, KS. As a South Texan girl, I'd always thrown a little shade at the Great Plains states. Pfft. Kansas? Nebraska? Who'd want to live there? Unfortunately, the more we go to Kansas the more I like it. On the other hand, we haven't been there in the winter yet, and we've never seen a tornado so my opinion has not yet solidified.

After Kansas, we drove out to Tennessee for a week in Murfreesboro. It wasn't too bad there, except I had to go out and sit on the floor in hallway to get any wifi signal.

Goodbye, diet!

From Tennessee, we drove to Santa Fe for a six-day class. We gave up on the Holiday Inn Express because their treadmill has been out of order for 18 months and we stayed at the Hilton Club Vacation place. It's hard to beat a two room suite with a full kitchen AND a working treadmill, so it looks like the HIEx will not be seeing us again!

We escaped the incoming cold front in Santa Fe and came all the way back home to Boerne for Thanksgiving! We had the whole family together (except little sister and her husband in Indiana), and it was lots of fun!

Coming up in December, a week in New Mexico, two more weeks in Kansas, and then back to New Jersey for Christmas!
