First taste of Winter

States Visited: Louisiana New Mexico Texas

We spent the first two weeks of November in Louisiana, first in New Orleans and then in Cottonport. From there, we headed out to Taos for our first taste of winter in 2024!

While in Taos, we branched out from our culinary comfort zone and bought an octopus. Have you really lived until you’ve cooked an octopus in a hotel room?

We got home on Saturday, and it was right back to work! Back into the attic for me as Michael and I went over to help a friend install new security cameras.

She yearns for the attic

The sister and bro-in-law came in for Thanksgiving, making us a total of seven once again. We had Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday as a family, then we all fled the coop early Saturday morning.
