A New Jersey Christmas

We left for Florida after Thanksgiving, making this our fourth time in Chiefland this year. We stayed in our little cabin AirBnB again. It feels like going home at this point, except this time it was COLD!

Almost home

From Chiefland we headed back to Lake Charles (yes, again). From Lake Charles we went to Deer Park, Texas where we embarked on separate missions: Michael to teach his class and Kerry and Kerri to do IT work for our new clients! On our last day, I snuck out to visit the San Jacinto Monument.

That afternoon we drove from Deer Park Tx to Birmingham, AL. Slept the night, and made it home to New Jersey on Friday. It’s our first time home since May, so Michael’s mom was very glad to see us!

We spent Christmas and New Year’s with the family and are enjoying sleeping all day with nothing to do and nowhere to go! We went to see the Christmas Carol at Princeton University and are scheduled to see Tarzan this week as well.

Next month: Long Island, Alabama, Florida and Texas!
