Well, we say we travel all over the country, but really we just travel to and from New Mexico. We started this month at the Santa Ana reservation north of Albuquerque. I had no idea you got pink and white cherry blossoms in Albuquerque!

From ABQ we spent a week in Taos, and then we drove back across ABQ to our first class in Grants, NM. I grew up reading westerns set in The Malpais. I knew about volcanic rock, rattlesnakes, dust, and mountains. I didn't know about trees covered in white blossoms that smell like honeysuckle! What's so Mal about that Pais?

From New Mexico, we packed up and drove 1,754 miles in 2.5 days allllll the way to Charleston, SC. What a change that was!

Next month it's Texas and then... you guessed it! Back to New Mexico. 😂
